You may be unaware but The Glenleighden School is a special place not just because of the wonderful teaching and learning experiences that occur here, but also because we are the home of an endangered species – The Richmond Birdwing Butterfly. Take a wander to the playground and peer into the fenced off habitat at the back and you will find this precious creature fluttering around.

This term students have the opportunity to try many new things at the school with our increase in subject choices for the Senior School and new clubs for all students. The sacrifices made by our families to ensure their child receives the education they need are an expression of true love. However making such sacrifices can cause extreme stress for families and many families carry secret burdens alone. The team at The Glenleighden School want our families to know they are not alone.
