Webinar: Transitions Within the School Day

Throughout the school day, students spend roughly 25% of their day in transitions. Transitions can be complex as they require students to adjust to new expectations and surroundings, follow complex instructions, navigate the school environment, organise their belongings and adapt and cope with change. This webinar will focuses on understanding the complexity of transitions within the school day and provide strategies to support students with Language Disorder during these transitions.

The key learning objectives in this webinar include:

  • Identifying a range of transitions that occur within the school day
  • Understanding the developmental skills required to transition successfully
  • Developing strategies to support both younger and older students to transition successfully within the school day
