Visual perception is more than the sense of vision. It is the ability to use visual information to recognise, recall, discriminate and make sense of what is seen. Students rely heavily on visual information during early childhood for developing motor skills, as well as the learning process. Therefore, any difficulties with visual perception will have a significant impact across a variety of settings, such as at home and in the classroom.
