Today, on International Developmental Language Disorder Awareness day we launch our new evidence brief, Developmental Language Disorder and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Developed in conjunction with SALDA by the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association’s Deeble Institute for Health Policy Research, it examines the need for increased education about DLD for paediatricians, specialist teams and the wider public  in order that children and young people with DLD can get the support they need and deserve.
